Do you know where the standard case with a wheel in the background but no NFR stamp on the back came from. Which tells me there’s at minimum 3 variants. I’ve come across wheel variant cases on eBay that don’t say “not for resale” on the back. From reading this post it seems the not for resale variant came bundled with the wheel and the standard case without the wheel on it came bundled with the wii mini. I’m trying to acquire a first print Mario kart wii on eBay and through extensive research I’ve seen that there are LOTS of different prints. Hi OP I know you posted this a while ago but I need some help. Still looking to get to the bottom of the box art though. So if the game and manual are not original, no biggie, I payed 10 dollars for it and I have 2 other complete “normal” copies. However, the manual has the steering wheel on it (box art does not) which leads me to believe it is not original, plus it was printed in a different region, but I just don’t know because the colors match which is odd.

The true is same for the manuals as well. The color green present on the one w/o WFC logo is a little lighter.

UPDATE Someone commented on the color difference, it’s most notable with Luigi’s green clothing. The one on the left is in question, the one in the middle came with the steering wheel bundle and the one on the right came with a wii mini. I am curious to know anything about the strange box art, especially the lower number and missing Nintendo WFC logo. So the disc in there might not be the original? I don’t care if it is because I have 2 other “normal” copies. (BO variants for those who know the term) So yes this one I found was with a BO disc. It also has a lower number next to the game id on the back of the box art then what most original copies have, that being the two tone discs as opposed to the one with the paper label with more colors.
It is missing the Nintendo WFC logo in the top left and I looked on ebay for awhile to find anything like it and came up empty handed. UPDATE So I’ve had these 3 copies of mariokart and the one on the left is a black sheep.
